Helpfulness, empathy, acceptance, responsibility and truthfulness, a great reminder for all of us to live these values each and every day.
We've been using the maker space to continue our exploration of simple machines and this week we used the keva planks to construct inclined planes.
It was fascinating to observe the design thinking mindsets in action. The team work and global mind was sparking, people were sharing ideas and getting creative with materials to test their machines.
Check out our IXL "math club"! Thinking Thursday was all about math on the iPads in room 105-- using IXL math to explore decimals and fractions. Do they look engaged to you?
Ask your child why they enjoy learning using IXL.
If you recall last Monday was International Children's Day -- we believe everyday is children's day in room 105. We've created cards to celebrate the importance of child rights by creating emojis to represent the importance of protecting all children. They were also asked to come up with a superpower that could help children in need all over the world. Have a look at some of the amazing artwork:
